Ahmet Guven is a Contemporary Artist, Electronics Engineer and Co-founder of No.90 Art Space, currently based in Ankara Turkey.
Coming from an engineering background, graduated from METU-Electronics Engineering Department and completed his MBA at the same university, He is committed to art so shed his business identity and changed his course, setting out on a journey driven by his creative instincts, which he calls “being my true self”.
In 2013, with his friend, the artist, Asli Kutluay and the designer Aylin Perçin, he founded No.90 Art Initiative in Ankara. Based out of No90 Art Initiative Ahmet has immersed himself in his creative, artistic soul’s journey and presented his first solo exhibition IRONICALS – The Chronicles of Ironies at TILKI Gallery in Ankara in February 2017.
He then began working on a new series of art works which interrogates individuals’ searches for their self in the chaos of identities throughout their lives. He has also simulated this search for himself by keeping a kind of visual journal on black canvases. This series has built-up the main theme of this exhibition; One No One which is opened at Magazzino Gallery, Venice in March 2018.
